Here’s a list of the websites I’ve developed, worked on or did marketing for, most of them include all of the above. Some of them are long gone, as the owners have moved in different directions, but I can share at least an image and some details on what I have done for these companies.
Here’s a great example of a website I completely redeveloped and maintain. Leather Headquarters is located in Las Vegas but we met Leather Headquarters at the 2015 Colorado Motorcycle Expo and produced a video for them in our TV special. They liked our work so much that I also did an analysis of their website and social media and what could be improved on, which Michael Snyder the owner turned all of it over to Channel 1 Networks and I redesigned his whole website, promoted their site and events using Google Adwords and Facebook ads. I also do social media promotions on their Facebook page, Google+ and Pinterest, as well I set them up with Twitter and I am in the process of working on an online store for Leather Headquarters using Shopify.
Modern Homestead Solutions
I started helping Modern Homestead Solutions at the 2017 Denver Home Show with a video for their company and found that they also needed help with adding products to their online store. I helped them not only add all those products to their shop but also redesigned the website and created new web pages for products they wanted to also sell.
I’ve been working with GlassMat since 2005 when I shot and edited a video for Marsha the owner. More recently I produced another video with her at the 2015 Denver Home Show and at the same time, helped them get setup with Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Google+. I also provided them with an analysis of their website with some ideas on what improvements can be made to it and offered our services to help with the redevelopment of the site when they’re ready.
Theatrical Costumes Etc…
Theatrical Costumes Etc… is a unique place with 3 locations, an online job board website and as well they provide services for lots of different events, so they wanted us to produce a promotional video to cover all the services they provide and use our website services to create numerous display ads that run on all over the Channel 1 Networks sites as well as on their websites, Facebook, twitter and others. We continued our work with them and have produced many event and instructional videos as well as more promotional videos for them. I also helped out with their store’s website and created new pages and links to other projects they did on the side like the 365 Days of Costumes and Creators Board websites.
365 Days of Costumes
365 Days of Costumes was a project idea that we ran by the owners of Theatrical Costumes Etc.. in Boulder and they loved it, and it was quite the hit in the fashion blogging world. The project was a website I developed the framework for and taught the employees of Theatrical Costumes Etc. in Boulder, how to post, run and manage, as well as providing some tips on taking photos. This was also a great site that proves that just a few hours of personal design training, that someone can take and run with a website to develop quite an exciting blog. Sadly after 365 days they discontinued their work on the site, so I cannont provide you with more than a photo of what the site looked like.
Boulder Army Store
Boulder Army Store was a website I took and redeveloped, basically from the ground up, with just a few elements that the previous web designers at the Daily Camera had used. The site was already hosted in WordPress so I incorporated social media and blog integrations. Every week I updated the homepage with news and seasonally I produce a magazine style video to incorporate on their website and in our television shows. I also helped manage their social media accounts to help promote new products, events and sales in the store.
Swiss Chalet Timepieces Boulder
Swiss Chalet Timepieces was a website I developed after they found my video production services to be helping promotions in the store. The first website layout was one I took on as a redevelopment to incorporate more of what they wanted to display to web visitors and eventually I moved the site to a new hosting company and redesigned it entirely. After the redisign I sat down with the employees and trained them how to make posts and updates online, which sort of worked but they were usually too busy to manage it themselves so they often called on me to publish stories for their site. I also provided them with IT services when their computers or software wasn’t preforming they way’s they needed, which they greatly appreciated.
Perry’s Shoe Shop
Perry’s Shoe Shop has been a long time sponsor of the television shows I work on and I have produced numerous videos helping promote both their shops in Boulder. I moved their site from an outdated and expensive hosting company to a much better one and in the processs redeveloped it into a functioning business website. When they moved shop to their new location I did a second redevelopment of their website and I sat down with the owners daughter and trained them how to do website posts and change information on the pages when needed.
Fruehauf’s Patio Center
Fruehauf’s Patio Center was a redevelopment from the original store website, I kept only a few aspects of the original and incorporated a comprehensive list of patio collections and services that they do at the business. This list is still present on their tertiary offshoot of my website design after the company changed hands. I also produced a few short commercial videos to promote in-store deals and multiple videos that were more in depth looks at the store that played on television.
Universal Tiles was a “Simple as can be” website that I made to display the various styles of granite that the company could acquire. This was a start-up company that wanted a way to display their different styling options on a website for clients to select from and a simple way to contact them for ordering options. The business was short-lived but still an adventure of mine in web design and working with different industries to bring a larger web presence.
The Rav House
Sue, a good friend of my family opened a deli like shop in the Denver area and with it she wanted to create a website with information about what kind of foods they had to sell. I helped Sue get started with a simple website, menu, and contact info, as well I taught her how to publish her own content and created a Daily Menu that she was able to manage from the shop and let customers know what was on special each day. She has since modified the site after she added an online shop but for the 4 or 5 hours we initially put into the site, it really has taken off as a way to offer her customers additional information about the store.
Village Coffee Shop
The Village Coffee Shop in Boulder has me design ads, gift-cards, share their news on social media to help promote their restaurant in the local community. South Mouth Wings was a restaurant I started off doing informational and promotional videos for and during the process, learned that they wanted to increase their online presence so I started helping them promote their website through online marketing ad campaigns on Facebook and promotions twitter. After they found the services very responsive in gaining over 700 likes in a short few weeks they, I worked with them to utilize those likes and bring people to their website. As a result of the marketing they wanted to redesign their website and asked for my help intergrating their website with their Facebook page to include photos from Facebook albums, activity from their Facebook feed, and a whole redevelopment of their online menu.
Buddha Thai Cuisine had an older website that they couldn’t manage to modify the menu and update their hours so I provided them with a entirely new website they could manage when necessary. They also wanted me to redevelop their entire printed menu and so I visited with them to gather all the information and provided them with a Dinner menu that they printed and now use in their restaurant today.
Original Pancake Houses in Seattle
I took the Original Pancake House in Boulder website and transfered it to 3 other restaurants in the franchise in the Seattle area. When it was the Original Pancake House in Boulder, I started by producing video segments for our television shows to help promote the restaurant. This attracted a much larger audience and the need for a website to be designed, which I started from scratch. With the website in place I also began taking photos and made a slideshow that played on the big screens in the restaurant throughout the day. On top of that Boulderchannel1 has also hosted a booth and Live streaming video at an Original Pancake house charity event. In 2011 we all decided the old website needed to be brought into the new millennium of social media so we redeveloped it to offer even more interactions. I edited “Breakfast with Larry” a short video blog which has been hosted on many occasion online and on television.

I designed sections like: Menus, coupons, photos, media, video, about and contact, that the previons site was lacking. I also set them up on Facebook, Twitter and C1N accounts. Along with website development, I also took photos for their montly specials and promoted them on their site and social media. Sadly the store was sold and the new owner closed shop about a year later.

Great Harvest in Boulder was one of the longest lasting clients and they used a variety of my services. I started editing videos for television as well as writing public relations media online. The owner Scott Creevy has also taken on the efforts to display his talents in his own video blog titled Baking With Scott, which I shot and edited. After working with the owner for many years they decided that they wanted a website and so I developed a nice little website for them and trained Scott on how to post content on the site into the newsletter he created. I also provided them with a monthly Slideshow DVD for use in their newly installed televisions, which played for customers in the sandwich line. This was another restaurant in Boulder that was sold and now has an entire new look and design but still a great place.
Phelps-Atkinson Golf Course Design
In late 2016 my uncle gave me the name of one of his clients that wanted to redevelop his website to work on mobile devices and add a few things. I met with Rick Phelps and talked about what I could help them with and we decided to maintain the previous design of the site and move it to a better platform for design. From start to finish this project took me about 40 hours and was finished in just about 2 weeks, with a few things that remain to be added, when the time call for it. I think it’s a pretty good example of how I can take something and recreate it to look almost identicle but work even better.

In 2005, Jann Scott wanted a way to show his TV show online and we started BoulderChannel1.com, which expanded quickly into DenverChannel1.com and TheWorldChannel1.com. I designed all of these to provide an outlet for our TV show as well as another way to promote our clients online. I have worked on these website every day since they started and in 2009 I moved the site from a traditional HTML site to a database driven Content Managment system. From there we’ve moved all the site and created a network of cities that host news, business and event videos as well as local stories from journalists and a search engine like listing of businesses we help promote on our site. I also help manage the vast network of social media accounts and sometimes even train writers to create their own content on the web site.
